Problem

Paul runs a full Omada stack (10G dual-PSU gateway, managed switches, APs) but has no automated way to analyze network health or get optimization recommendations. The Omada controller UI shows data but doesn't interpret it.

Core Concept

• Read-only MCP using the Omada Open API (REST, OAuth 2.0 client credentials mode)
• Friday can query network state but cannot make changes
• Paul makes changes in Omada based on Friday's recommendations
• API endpoint: Omada Cloud northbound API or local controller

What Friday Could Analyze

WiFi Optimization:

• Client signal strength and SNR across APs
• Channel utilization and interference
• Roaming event patterns
• Band steering effectiveness
• Recommend channel changes, power adjustments

Client Analysis:

• Device inventory: who's on the network, which AP, which VLAN
• Bandwidth usage patterns per client
• Devices on wrong VLAN or suboptimal AP
